Podcast Cover Art - What you should and shouldn't do

Podcast Cover Art

Lets be honest Podcast Cover Art matters! Sometimes we read a book because of its cover. The same goes for Podcast Cover Art, we browse with our eyes.

You want to make sure that the resolution of the podcast cover art remains crisp and always legible when it is displayed in a larger format, especially when it is reduced to thumbnails on mobile devices. When creating the perfect podcast cover artwork, I always make sure to use different elements of the design to create something that skips directly to your podcast directory and potential listeners. If you lack inspiration for podcast-covered art, then a great way to get your creative juices flowing is to see what your competitors and colleagues are up to.

Create something that is representative of your show and brand, such as a logo, logo design or even a graphic design for your podcast.

If you are like most podcasts, you don't want your podcast to be listed on iTunes or Google; you also want it listed on these pages to increase visibility and maximize downloads. If you're interested in anything that helps create a great podcast cover, consider the best graphic design software to help you turn your vision into attention - and capture reality, like G2 for real user reviews. I will answer all the questions you have about what to do with podcast cover art best practices and even show you how to create exactly if you have no design experience.

Podcast Cover Art

Podcast album art is one of the first impressions potential listeners have of your podcast, so take a look at the top 10 best podcast cover art and launch iTunes or your favorite podcast app. Most technical requirements are uniform in all areas, which makes your life a little easier.

When it comes to podcast covers, don't just take some old picture - get it right, not just the best. A poorly designed album cover - artwork or even a bad one - makes your show look like any other show shown on the same page.

When you finish the cover of your podcast, make sure it is reused for other places, otherwise it will not be accepted. Some podcasting platforms may only show a single image of your show on their website, but that doesn't mean you can skimp on image quality. Compliance with the same guidelines for your website as for any other type of website or podcast is critical.

You can use the new artwork on Soundcloud to cover your podcast as well as other content on other platforms such as iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.

If your reused cover looks too busy for your small size, you should use a simpler design with the same color scheme. If your podcast doesn't have an attractive image, Apple won't feature it in its "New Noteworthy" section. Not only do amateur cover arts turn off potential subscribers, but if you're a graphic designer, you might want to consider hiring a professional for the artwork.

If the initial artwork is larger than 1400 x 1400 or 300 dpi, reduce it to fit the medium if it is smaller.

When creating a podcast cover, it should have at least 1400 x 1400 pixels and its dimensions should be 3000 x 3000 pixels, which is an aspect ratio of 1: 1. Generally, you should use a JPG or PNG file and compress the image file to optimize it for mobile devices. S

For your podcast cover to catch the eye and be included in the large podcast directories, you need to make sure the size is right. To achieve this, I've listed a few tips on how to create eye-catching, high-quality, and easy-to-use podcast covers for free. Before we take a look at the technology, we should focus on the most important aspect of podcast coverage: the color scheme.

This applies not only to the color scheme of your podcast cover, but also to its size, shape, and color palette.
